A well-established healthcare organization in the Southern Finger Lakes region of New York is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join its outpatient rehabilitative services team. This position focuses primarily on pediatrics with opportunities to support adult patients as well. The ideal candidate will be patient-centered collaborative and dedicated to improving communication and swallowing outcomes for clients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans addressing communication and swallowing needs.

• Provide direct therapy in an outpatient setting primarily serving pediatric patients.

• Collaborate closely with physicians therapists nurses and other interdisciplinary team members.

• Educate patients families and caregivers on therapy goals techniques and home programs.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation according to department policies.

• Participate in staff meetings in-service education and ongoing professional development.

• Contribute to program innovation and growth within outpatient speech services.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.

• Eligible for New York State licensure and registration.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility to obtain.

• One to two years of pediatric or hospital-based experience preferred; new graduates with strong pediatric training are encouraged to apply.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
