Job Summary
Job Summary (Application Developer - Java & Web Technologies):
- Oversee application upgrades installations and management of batch scheduling tools.
- Manage and configure batch scheduling systems including patching for over 6 years.
- Administer set up and troubleshoot Redwood RunMyJobs for 2 3 years.
- Design and optimize batch job schedules to meet business Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Troubleshoot CI/CD and migration-related issues within batch processes.
- Manage job dependencies calendars and execution windows for efficient operation.
- Monitor and analyze job performance implementing improvements as needed.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to align batch processes with organizational needs.
- (Nice to have) Utilize various batch scheduling tools and technologies (e.g. IBM Tivoli Control-M ActiveBatch).
- (Nice to have) Work with Linux Windows and other operating systems relevant to batch processing.
- (Nice to have) Develop scripts to automate batch scheduling and monitoring tasks.
- (Nice to have) Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues.
- (Nice to have) Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
