Job Summary
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Ensuring adherence to site-specific and overall Valterra Platinum Technical standards.
- Multi-disciplinary team management
- Strategic Asset management including planned maintenance and common reliability practices
- Safety Management
- Labour structure leave and training management
- Effective Budgeting Controls (OPEX and CAPEX)
- Management of Major shutdowns
- Oversee plant projects (within limit of authority)
- Ensuring adherence to Legal compliance
- Manage plant rotables and spares
- Carry out 1st 2nd and 3rd line maintenance at the plant
This role is at a Band 6 level reporting to the Section Engineering Manager.
Qualifications :
- Engineering related degree BEng Engineering
- Government Certificate of competency in Mines and Works
Experience Knowledge and skills
- Five years post Engineering qualification experience
- Plant experience will be advantageous (Gyratory and cone Crushers conveyors HPGR)
- Proficient in computer literacy Microsoft office
- Proficiency in English
