Job Summary
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with teams across Transaction Banking Business CIB Operations Finance and IT to identify investigate report on and timeously resolve cash reconciliation breaks.
This role offers a comprehensive view of the end-to-end trade lifecycle for Transaction Banking products (including Trade Finance Supply Chain Finance and Structured Trade Finance) with a key focus on analyzing reconciliation discrepancies between theoretical and actual cash flows.
In addition the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the automation and optimization of manual reconciliation processes leveraging tools such as Intellimatch.
Qualifications :
Qualification required
- CA(SA) / BCom Finance
Experience required
3-4 years
- Process automation
- Demonstrated experience of process automation within a finance function. Working knowledge of new technologies like Alteryx Power BI.
5-7 years
- A thorough understanding and working experience of the rules and principles of good governance and risk management pertaining to Reconciliations related products processes procedures and policies. A good understanding of accounting principles and account structures.
- Relevant recons knowledge and experience with an in-depth understanding of systems processes and procedures to perform recons.
