About the Role

The Head of Finance will take full responsibility for financial leadership across the business. This includes managing a small team overseeing financial operations improving processes and supporting the executive team with strategic insights. Youll play a major part in refining systems driving discipline across the organisation and creating a finance function that can scale confidently.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership

• Oversee end-to-end finance operations including reporting budgeting compliance and cash flow.
  
• Provide accurate monthly management accounts financial insights and board-level reporting.
  
• Partner with executives on strategic planning scenario modelling and performance tracking.
  

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead mentor and grow the finance team.
  
• Build a culture of accountability clarity and continuous development.
  
• Strengthen administrative and operational capabilities across the department.
  

Financial Operations & Controls

• Ensure strong financial governance internal controls and compliance with all relevant regulations.
  
• Improve systems processes and reporting frameworks to support growth.
  
• Oversee reconciliations financial schedules treasury and statutory submissions.
  

Business Growth & Operational Support

• Work closely with operational teams to ensure financial and commercial alignment.
  
• Support business development activities new product launches and group expansion initiatives.
  
• Drive efficiency cost control and disciplined financial management.
  

Requirements

• CIMA (ACMA/CGMA) qualification required.
  
• 8 years of experience in Finance ideally within financial services investments asset management lending or related sectors.
  
• Proven experience leading finance teams.
  
• Strong operational and administrative capability organised detail-driven and steady under pressure.
  
• Strong understanding of budgeting reporting cash flow compliance and governance.
  
• Experience improving processes and building scalable finance functions.
  
• Commercial mindset with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
