Job Summary
Our client a 360-degree marketing and strategy firm dedicated to creating memorable consumer experiences is looking for an Accountant who can keep their financial engine running smoothly. As the accountant youll play a key role in managing our books ensuring compliance and providing the insights that keep our business decisions sharp and sound. Your Responsibilities
- You will prepare and analyse financial statements including income statements balance sheets and cash flow reports.
- You will maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- You will manage accounts payable and receivable ensuring prompt and accurate processing.
- You will handle payroll ensuring salaries are calculated and disbursed on time.
- You will assist in preparing budgets and forecasts to guide business planning.
- You will monitor project budgets and track performance against set financial targets.
- You will ensure full compliance with Senegalese tax laws calculating filing and remitting taxes correctly.
- You will stay up to date with changes in tax regulations and advise stakeholders accordingly.
- You will support external audits ensuring all documentation is accurate and accessible.
- You will develop and maintain strong internal controls to protect company assets.
- You will collaborate with other departments providing financial insights that guide decisions and strategy.

- Accurate and timely financial statements prepared every month and quarter.
- Full compliance with all local tax and audit regulations with no penalties or missed deadlines.
- Smooth payroll processing with 100% accuracy.
- Well-reconciled ledgers and clear visibility into cash flow at all times.

- Strong cross-department collaboration and reliable financial insights for decision-making.
To be considered for this role you should have
- A License (Bachelors degree) in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- 23 years of proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
