We are currently recruiting for a Sterile Services Technician vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business at an entry-level and receive world-class training to get you on to a defined career pathway.

Working Pattern
12 weeks of full-time training on Monday-Friday at 8:00-16:00. Then move to full-time permanent shift Tuesday to Friday 7:00 - 15:00. Saturday - 12-8
Whats involved
- Ensuring the effective preparation of sterile consumables (dressings linen instruments and equipment) by the process of decontamination inspection assembly and packing within predefined quality standards.
- Rigorously checking washing laying up and packing sets of theatre instruments to meet contract specifications within predefined quality standards.
- Safely operating and monitoring machines and equipment (washer/disinfectors ultrasonic and sterilisers) effectively.
- Ensuring that repairs and missing instruments or equipment are recorded and logged on the Tracking and Traceability computer system (SynergyTrak).
- Ensuring that repaired instruments or equipment are returned to stock or the appropriate coded sets or the Trusts appointed person.
Required Experience
- Educated to a good general standard with demonstrable verbal and numerical abilities.
- Basic end user IT skills to operate track and traceability IT system.
Preferred Experience
- TVQ or NVQ Level 2 in Decontamination or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in Sterile Services and/or health related products.
