Position Summary

We are looking for a proactive Strategic Buyer to join our Procurement team in Sofia Bulgaria. You will develop and implement sourcing strategies conduct market analyses and negotiate contracts. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills along with a solid understanding of procurement processes. Join us in ensuring compliance with Nestlés Corporate Business Principles while managing supplier relationships effectively.

A day in the life of Strategic buyer:

Responsible for developing validating communicating and implementing sourcing strategies for locally managed categories (at NiM level) following the Strategic Sourcing Process tools templates and policies developed by Nestlé;
Create and deliver the overall Category Sourcing Strategy (for the corresponding aggregation level) solutions and implementation plans that that meet the current and future business needs;
Perform supplier market analysis category analysis and supply risk analysis and develop TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) understanding as well as the map of how sourcing process and channels work within the locally managed category and identify improvements to be targeted;
Prepare and execute negotiation events seeking best TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) contracts optimizing TDC (Total Delivered Costs) and beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers for the locally managed categories;
Promote and ensure Compliance to Nestlés Corporate Business Principles policies standards and Procurement Policy Procurement Standardized Model Nestlé Supplier Code Best Practices etc.
Integrates category plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning processes as required;
In partnership with Enablement Specialists and business partners lead the planning and regular contract SLA (Service Level Agreement) reviews with suppliers contractual commitments and service level review with other functional partners such as quality.
Ensure effective contract management follow up activities are in place (e.g. SAP Contracts purchasing info records master data).

What will make you successful

Ideally you are a proactive person with strong analytical skills data-driven thinking who has Project Management experience and university degree in relevant field.
You are advanced communicator and negotiator able to deliver results through others and influence with integrity.
You have excellent knowledge of English language both written and spoken. You are advanced user of MS Office package. Ariba knowledge will be considered as an advantage.
