Job Summary
The MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operations) Buyer will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services needed for the maintenance repair and operational needs of our facilities. This individual will ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for MRO items to optimize cost quality and delivery.
- Identify and qualify suppliers negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
- Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and procurement best practices.
- Initiate and manage purchase orders track delivery schedules and ensure inventory levels meet operational requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand MRO needs and align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Experience in purchasing or supply chain management specifically in MRO procurement.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage vendor relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
