Position Summary
The Crossbore Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of Technicians while serving as the primary liaison between Project Managers and field personnel. This role ensures field operations are carried out safely efficiently and in compliance with company and client standards. The Supervisor will manage daily tasks assign responsibilities receive and distribute maps and project details and provide ongoing support to the field team. Reporting directly to the Project Manager the Crossbore Supervisor plays a key role in coordinating communication maintaining productivity and driving successful project completion.
Regional & Work Environment Considerations
This role involves working along busy streets highways and residential roads often in high-traffic areas. Crews must follow strict safety protocols and be aware of roadside hazards. Some sites may include embankments uneven terrain or wet conditions. Expect outdoor challenges and changing weather conditions. This means adapting to high heat humidity sudden storms and cold temperatures.
Primary Responsibilities
Monitor production and quality reporting of all Technicians reporting to the Supervisor and work with Technicians to improve any production or quality issues
Receive and respond to first line of technical support issues for Technicians in the group and escalate to Field Operations Manager and/or Project Manager as needed
Track and manage distribution and collection of plat maps via MobileFrame and other tools
Manage new leaks that arise from the group
Utilize web maps to facilitate corrections as needed
Utilize FTP for accessing and uploading files as necessary
Proactively report any issues observed with Technicians to the Field Operations Manager and Project Manager
Manage inventory of equipment used by Technicians in the group including cones signage logo magnets first aid kit dog repellent spray batteries highlighters and more
Ensure all safety requirements policies and procedures are followed and enforced as necessary
Initiate written discipline
Job Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of gas leak survey experience
Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employment
Strong communication and organizational ability
Ability to lead motivate and provide direction to geographically dispersed team
Ability to prioritize and organize a variety of tasks
Proficient in using current technology such as smartphones tablets and Microsoft Office
Ability to effectively communicate with Hydromax USA employees clients and the public in an articulate professional manner
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to be highly organized
High attention to detail
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form
Individuals who can walk on terrain types work in confined spaces bend squat and lift/carry up to 75 pounds
Pay:
$28-32 per hour depending on experience
