We are seeking a talented individual to join our regional Private Equity and M&A (PEMA) here at Marsh the worlds largest risk advisor. This role will be based in Warsaw Poland. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days per week in the office.
Our CEE and Eastern Mediterranean PEMA team is market-leading currently with 10 M&A professionals across Warsaw Vienna and Tel Aviv. We structure and place transactional risk insurance solutions primarily Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) insurance in connection with domestic and international M&A transactions working closely with global insurers in the CEE UK Continental Europe and beyond. Our clients include private equity funds institutional investors and leading corporates.
To thrive in this role the ideal candidate should be humble willing to take on any task and be self-driven and proactive. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your M&A legal background in a dynamic and client-facing environment engaging directly with decision-makers on high-profile transactions.
You will be offered a front-row seat in the regional M&A market advising leading investors and corporates. You will be provided with training mentorship and international career opportunities within Marsh. This is a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a market-leading practice both locally in Warsaw the CEE and East Med region and beyond.
We will count on you to:
- Advise on structure and place Warranty and Indemnity and other transactional risk insurance solutions.
- Support clients throughout the deal lifecycle from structuring to negotiations and final placement.
- Collaborate with leading law firms and other deal advisors as well as financial investors corporates and global insurers.
- Work closely with our regional PEMA hubs on both domestica and regional transactions.
- Take on a highly commercial role while continuing to develop your legal and negotiation skills.
What you need to have:
- 5 years of M&A experience from a reputable law firm(s) or equivalent in-house role.
- Strong understanding of M&A transaction dynamics and contract negotiations.
- Excellent communication skills fluent in Polish and English (spoken and written).
- Ambitious commercially minded and a strong team player.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deal-driven environment without compromising on quality.
