As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Workplace Solutions team you will design develop and maintain backend services that power our enterprise platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams applying best practices in software development and promoting technical excellence. Your role will help us deliver robust solutions that support our business and clients. You will thrive in a collaborative environment where your ideas and skills are valued and youll be empowered to grow and make a difference.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services technologies
- Write clean efficient and well-documented code in C#
- Design and optimize database solutions with MS SQL Server
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices
- Apply software design patterns and best practices
- Integrate and deploy solutions on cloud platforms including Azure and AWS
- Use version control systems for source code management
- Participate in code reviews and share knowledge with the team
- Break down business requirements from Epics into User Stories
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- 6 years of experience in commercial software development
- Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming
- Experience and/ Framework
- Solid understanding of SQL query optimization and stored procedures
- Familiarity with design patterns and software development best practices
- Experience with version control tooling and branching strategies
- Strong problem-solving communication and collaboration skills
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Familiarity with Bitbucket Jira Swagger Bruno or Postman
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices containerization and deployment tools
- Experience in Agile development environments
