The Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptrollers Office is seeking a well-organized detail-oriented professional who likes the challenge of variety and possesses excellent time management skills to join our team as a Courtroom Administrator in the Circuit Civil department.
A Courtroom Administrator is an integral part of our courtroom team by accurately preparing the official record of hearings this role you will work closely with elected judges bailiffs defense attorneys prosecuting attorneys interpreters and other court justice partners. You will also learn more about civil law evidence legal documents that are filed in a civil case how to use our case management system and much more! Learning these functions will help you build a strong foundation in growing your career here at the Clerks office!
What does Circuit Civil mean Our Circuit Civil department handles non-criminal cases in which individuals or businesses sue for damages exceeding $50000. Examples of Circuit Civil cases include but not limited to:
This position is eligible to receive a 5% increase to the hourly rate which has already been added to the salary advertised. The 5% increase to the hourly rate will be awarded upon completion of the introductory period.

High school diploma (or GED) supplemented by three (3) years of recent and relevant experience that demonstrates the ability to accurately apply acute attention to detail in maintenance of detailed data preferably in an automated systems environment; or an equivalent combination of education training and experience. Some vocational or college courses preferred. Once qualified deputization may be required to perform the assigned functions.
