Evening Supervisor Hope Residence
Location: The Lutheran Home: Hope Residence
Setting: 52-bed Intermediate Care Facility for adults with developmental disabilities
Schedule: MondayFriday 4:00pm9:00pm
About Us
Hope Residence provides compassionate person-centered care for adults with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a supportive and proactive Evening Supervisor to oversee our caregiving staff during the second shift and ensure a positive high-quality environment for residents and team members.
Position Summary
The Evening Supervisor plays a key role in supporting caregivers promoting resident well-being and ensuring smooth evening operations. This position observes staff interactions assists with training provides administrative support and serves as a resource for new team members.
Responsibilities
Supervise and support evening caregiving staff
Observe staff performance resident interactions and mealtime routines
Provide coaching and training as needed
Support and check in with new DSPs; answer questions and assist with onboarding
Ensure implementation of resident programs and cares
Complete filing tasks (programmatic & financial documents)
Email evening shift reports to management team
Provide administrative assistance to managers DON and Administrator
Serve as a positive role model and advocate for resident rights
Qualifications
2 years of management experience and 2 years caregiving experience preferred
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities strongly preferred
Valid drivers license required
Ability to assist residents with mobility needs (lift up to 20 lbs)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and build a supportive team environment
