Salary Band $81000 - $106000 p.a prorata Kiwisaver

  • 0.7 FTE / 56 hours per fortnight
  • Fixed term secondment cover until 11/11/2026

About the role

The highest levels of patient care lie at the heart of our mission. Integral to this is a commitment to achieving excellent clinical and commercial outcomes based on quality service delivery. We have exciting part-time fixed-term opportunity for a registered nurse looking to work in cancer care. Dunedin Hospital is the Cancer Centre for southern with satellite treatment areas across the southern district.

  • Work across a variety of areas in medical oncology radiation oncology and haematology.
  • Administration of chemotherapy and all supportive treatments monitoring patients receiving radiation therapy and providing clinic support for patients.
  • Occasionally there may be times when you are needed to work within the acute ward 8C
  • Monday to Sunday rostered shifts or as directed by the leadership team

About you

Were looking for nurses who areexperiencedand organised friendly and calm able to work independently and at the same time genuinely interested in the best outcome for both patient and team.

  • Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council
  • Provenexperience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals.
  • Excellent time management interpersonal and organisational skills
  • The ability to be adaptable flexible and solution focused.
  • Previous acute Oncology/Haematology experience is preferable but not essential
  • Must already hold working rights as this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

Salary Range

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale between $81683 and $106739 p.a pro rata dependant on relevant experience.
