Role Definition
Design development and testing of electrical and/or electronic components for use within machines and engine systems. Partner with suppliers to deliver production components and help the systems engineers integrate successfully into various applications. This is the third career level in engineering and represents a shift from learning and assisting to fully contributing to assignments that are broader more complex and challenging in nature.

Requires a bachelors degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum (Electrical Computer Mechatronics or Mechanical)
Intermediate-Advanced English level is required.

Supports project planning and tracking by gathering stakeholder input creating progress reports and assisting with scheduling tools (e.g. Gantt or PERT charts) under guidance for simple projects.
Electronics Engineering - HTH:
Anticipates the challenges and opportunities associated with creating printed circuit boards.
Interprets alternative interfaces between hardware and software and associated requirements and considerations.
Advises on matching methodology materials and tools to the electronic product that is being built.
Consults on engineering multiple electronic circuits components or devices.
Evaluates the benefits and drawbacks of analog and digital circuits.
Product Design - HTH:
Summarizes problems in the technical process and discrepancy between actual products and the vision.
Analyzes the effectiveness of the new product design; incorporates advanced research into the overall design.
Participates in the conception process of a hardware product vision.
Utilizes design methods to implement the construction of a new design model according to plans.
Analyzes the configuration of each component in relation to the overall product or product portfolio.
Reliability Management - HTH:
Selects appropriate tools and methods to ensure reliability expectations in hardware products.
Participates in product reliability and quality assurance standard processes to meet process demands.
Conducts performance and reliability testing for a specific hardware product or product group.
Implements reliability activities and tasks for product development and maintenance plans.
Analyzes common hardware reliability failures; provides corrective action plans.
Mechanical Engineering - MFG:
Works with basic routine components of the mechanical engineering discipline in manufacturing.
Performs basic installation testing maintenance of electronic components
Uses software to draft drawings or writes specifications for specific mechanical engineering projects.
Follows relevant standards policies and practices in mechanical engineering operations; reports violations.
Supplier Management - MFG:
Follows procedures in carrying out routine supplier management tasks.
Uses electronic systems or tools to record/retrieve supplier information and carry out transactions with suppliers.
Resolves routine supplier issues; escalates non-routine issues up chain of command.
Researches alternative vendors or suppliers; participates in supplier selection.
Works with suppliers to ensure that purchases meet delivery date and quality specifications.
