Job Summary
Position Title: Respiratory Therapist
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours per week 7:00 PM 7:00 AM and7:00 AM 7:00 PM Rotating Days Every Other Weekend & Holiday
Pay Rate: $50 $56 per hour
Position Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Respiratory Therapistfor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.
Responsibilities:
Assess and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions.
Initiate monitor and wean patients from mechanical ventilation; perform ventilator troubleshooting.
Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests including arterial blood gases (ABGs) spirometry and capnography.
Administer oxygen aerosolized medications and other therapeutic gases.
Provide airway management including suctioning tracheostomy care and assistance during intubations and bronchoscopies.
Support neonatal and pediatric respiratory needs as required.
Participate in codes rapid response events and patient transport.
Maintain accurate EMR documentation and charge reconciliation.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
Active Massachusetts Respiratory Therapy License.
Current BLS certification (required); NRP certification preferred.
Minimum one year of critical care experience preferred.
Excellent clinical communication and teamwork skills.
