Job Description
Summary/objective
Works with Sales department to effectively ship and crate refurbished equipment. Handles any shipping claims or issues. Works with the customer to ensure accurate delivery of refurbished equipment.
Maintains parts and equipment inventories for Charleston SC service center. Organizes all parts and equipment in warehouse
Builds crates for each refurbished piece of equipment. Maintains inventory of all crate building materials.
Essential functions
Construct custom crates for equipment sold (up to 700 lbs) with precise measurements for safe transport to customer on the job training
Manage parts shipments for sales and service related to warranty calls
Operate forklift for loading and unloading large crates
Coordinate shipments with carriers for instrument sales and service including White Glove Service
Work with Supply Chain to ensure accuracy of item master for new and used parts inventory
Responsible for documenting inventory by recording additions disbursements in ERP
Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies
Assists in tracking data associated with instrument sales and service
Perform periodic review of inventory stock recording quantity type and value of materials on hand
Carrier claims management
Inspect all inbound shipments including equipment and parts to ensure not damaged
Competencies
Drivers licence required along with clean driving record
Forklift certification (we can provide training)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
