We Offer
- Competitive Pay: $35.50 per hour (Trip rated) or approximately $95000-$105000 per year
- Pension: $4.05 per hour (approx.$8500-$9300 per year) 100% paid by Arrow
- Full Benefits include dental life insurance pharmaceutical vision care chiropractor massage EAP and more. 100% paid by Arrow.
- Shift: Monday - Friday Starting at 1:00 AM to 3:00 AM (12 hour days) starting in Chilliwack

Responsibilities
As a professional driver working for Arrow Transportation Systems Inc working for the Chilliwack Mining Branch you will have the opportunity to haul B train trailers and operate a 10 axle drive truck. We primarily haul copper ore but we also haul biosolids road salt and soils. We offer home every day. - Oversee cargo handling and secure loads including equipment preparation application of safe practices compliance with applicable Acts and Regulations.
- Perform pre and post and en route trip inspections on equipment operated ensuring safety roadworthiness and regulatory compliance.
- Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation load securement drivers hours of service occupational health and safety transportation of dangerous goods and weights and dimensions.
- Record Maintain and Check all relevant paperwork (i.e. bill of lading) and documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
- Operate equipment such as truck cab computers CB radios and telephones to exchange necessary information with bases supervisors or other drivers.
- Complete electronic logs of working hours and of vehicle service and repair status.
- Ensure that all customers co-workers and the public are dealt with professionally and with respect.
You Possess
- A positive attitude
- Class 1 truck drivers license
- Drivers abstract with no suspensions
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- At least two job references
- B train experience is a required
- Mountain and winter driving experience is required
- Chaining up experience is required
