A warm and welcoming family is looking for an experienced and professional live in housekeeper to join their household. The role is based primarily in the Bahamas with frequent travel to other properties abroad. The right candidate will be organised discreet and genuinely take pride in maintaining a beautiful and well run home. This position would suit someone who enjoys travelling and working as part of a small and friendly household team.
The housekeeper will be responsible for ensuring the residence is always kept to an immaculate standard. Duties will include all aspects of cleaning laundry ironing and wardrobe management for the family. You will also prepare light meals such as breakfast snacks and simple lunches and will assist with setting the table and serving when the family entertains guests. The role includes welcoming guests ensuring all areas are tidy and well presented and managing household supplies and inventories. You will also provide occasional support with childcare and will work alongside other household staff such as a nanny and private teacher. Discretion professionalism and a positive attitude are essential at all times.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a private household and will understand the high standards required in such an environment. You should speak fluent English and knowledge of Russian would be advantageous. A valid dual passport is essential. The position requires excellent housekeeping and laundry skills good attention to detail and a willingness to adapt to the familys routines and travel schedule. You should be polite trustworthy presentable and comfortable working long hours when required including occasional evenings or events.
This is a full time live in position with accommodation provided. The schedule is six days per week up to twelve hours per day with appropriate breaks. The family offers a competitive salary based on experience meals during working hours thirty days of annual holiday and a return flight ticket. All travel expenses are covered when accompanying the family.

Previous experience working for VIP family
Confident about travelling enjoy flying and packing / unpacking.
Enjoys working overseas
Organised PA skills
Up to date criminal background check
Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
Valid passport for international travel
Good references for recent and relevant nanny / governess work and jobs that have each lasted a good length of time.
