Join our fast-growing SaaS team as an Environmental Solutions Engineer. If you specialize in air quality and noise and enjoy solving technical challenges this role is for you. Youll work hands-on with our industrial softwareconfiguring environments building tools and collaborating across teams to deliver tailored reliable solutions that meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Configuring and tailoring customer software instances using in-house tools
- Developing customer-specific functionality such as automated alerts dashboards and reporting (JavaScript Power BI)
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting across software hardware and modelling issues
- Setting up and managing operational meteorological and air quality models (WRF CALMET CALPUFF)
- Installing configuring and maintaining environmental monitoring hardware (air quality and noise)
- Conducting statistical analysis of customer datasets and developing site-specific models (R Python)
- Supporting the Customer Success Team in engaging with customers where necessary
Youll report to the Head of Operations working side-by-side our Technical Customer Success Managers.
Skills and Experience
- A degree in engineering (environmental chemical mechanical or related)
- 24 years of experience in air quality (with noise as a strong secondary skill)
- Practical experience with environmental monitoring hardware
- Experience with meteorological and air quality modelling (WRF CALMET CALPUFF)
- Strong statistical/analytical skills (R Python)
Bonus points for:
- Use of AI tools to streamline analysis and workflows
- Entry-level coding or scripting (Python JavaScript)
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms or configuration tools
