Job Description:
- Supports the Governments Knowledge Management (KM) practice by maintaining and updating the KM database capturing documentation and publishing updated SOPs workarounds and user guides in ITSM tools.
- Provides comprehensive IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) support ensuring accurate lifecycle tracking of hardware software licenses costs and compliance with Navy and DON policies.
- Develops and implements Government-approved processes for IT asset tracking patching refresh and disposal in accordance with SLAs regulatory and security requirements including preparing annual technology buy-lists.
- Delivers Information Management and Digital Transformation support designing and deploying data architectures integration analytics visualizations and enterprise data management solutions.
- Provides analysis design and development for information systems (ISs) and business applications including database modeling data governance business intelligence and integration with Navy systems (e.g. NERP ServiceNow APIs).
- Performs operations maintenance and systems administration for ISs and applications including software patching backups recovery and providing Information System Security Officer (ISSO) support for designated systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors level degree in an Engineering discipline Physics or Mathematics and a Masters level degree in Operations Research or Mathematics.
- 10 years professional experience in operations research.
- Six (6) years of professional experience in relation to analysis design and development related to data warehousing and integration capabilities.
- Experience with requirements developing definition and application designs in the form of logical data models data interface specifications on-line query and report specifications structured query language (SQL) database performance loading specifications and data validation specifications.
- Experience with data warehouse development and design data knowledge acquisition legacy conversion specifications and design of data structures/load specifications and knowledge of Working Capital Fund and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial and human resources systems methods and strategies for data warehousing.
