Role overview

As a member of the HQ Cost Planning Team you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the costs associated with Carlsberg Headquarters. Your primary focus will be on planning and controlling all operational costs of global functions like people costs professional services expenditures. By delivering high-quality financial insights and supporting strategic decision-making you will contribute directly to the operational efficiency and financial health of the organization.

What youll be doing

• Delivering the agreed scope and processes of the HQ Controlling in alignment with defined objectives
• Conducting continuous improvement in operational performance
• Supporting functional initiatives and projects within your area of responsibility
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure effective cooperation
• Making and executing decisions with speed and quality
• Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of the agreed FP&A controlling scope
• Participating in month-end closing reporting and planning processes (Budget Estimates)
• Analyzing financial data against various baselines (Budget Estimates)
• Identifying root causes of variances and providing actionable insights
• Cooperating with external auditors to support audit processes
• Aligning yourself and your team with agreed priorities and promoting cross-team collaboration

Who were looking for

Were looking for someone who has:

• Analytical mindset with a detail-oriented approach
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels (including top management)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Controlling or Financial Reporting
• Proven experience in budgeting forecasting variance analysis and financial modeling
• Solid understanding of cost allocation and cost center structures
• Familiarity with monthly financial closing processes accruals and reporting tools (e.g. SAP HFM)
• Ability to turn ideas into action quickly delivering with both speed and quality
• Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables Power Query complex formulas)
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Foundational knowledge of accounting controlling and IFRS
• Strategic thinking and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
