What Youll Do
The Internal Communications Director will support the execution of internal communications strategies and tactics to drive employee engagement and support business performance.
- Develop and execute communication strategies to support the needs of assigned business segments working to enhance awareness and engagement for Wintrust team members.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal business partners to serve as a trusted communications advisor.
- Partner with external communications and marketing to deliver a coordinated communications program across Wintrust initiatives.
- Lead the development and execution of a strategy for internal communication channels including email intranet and other platforms. Ensure content delivered across platforms is timely accurate and relevant.
- Develop and manage team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in internal communications execution and leadership.
- Proven experience in leading internal communications strategy including managing communications platforms.
- Exceptional strategic thinking skills backed by strong message development storytelling and writing experience.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Bachelors degree in journalism communications or related field.
