Join Our Team at Valley-Wide Health Systems Inc.
Were looking for a dedicated Regional Assessment Center (RAC) Manager to lead our Behavioral Health team in La Junta Colorado. This leadership role is responsible for supporting staff patient safety and high-quality behavioral health services within a 24/7 residential environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Regional Assessment Center ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
- Provide proper direct supervision and coordination of the RAC Team Members including hiring onboarding scheduling chart monitoring task assignment training/education performance management recognition discipline and termination.
- Support RAC Team Leads through consistent communication and delegation of duties.
- Conduct monthly team meetings and one-on-one check-ins with each staff member.
- Participate in Behavioral Health leadership meetings and ensure compliance with Valley-Wide policies procedures and Behavioral Health Administration standards.
- Promote Valley-Wides mission and uphold a professional image in all interactions.
- Maintain inventory and ensure supplies are adequately stocked.
- Participate in interviews and support new hire training and job readiness.
- Provide direct supervision and monitoring to each shift (day/swing/night) a minimum of twice per month on each shift.
- Conduct required safety inspections and emergency drills with timely follow-up to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in a behavioral health field
- Ability to obtain a Certified Addiction Specialist credential
- QMAP certification required
- Minimum 2 years of managerial and/or behavioral health experience
- BLS certification (provided upon hire)
- Strong communication organizational analytical and documentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office equipment
- Valid Colorado drivers license with ability and willingness to travel
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
