Your role within our Kingdom

Youll be part of a team in Shared Tech Game Operations department. Working alongside Level Designers and Game Developers to develop and scale ML models that enhance level creation and optimization across multiple games. Our mission To drive innovation in AI-powered level design automate playtesting and advance procedural content generation enabling faster smarter and more engaging game experiences. As part of this you will contribute empowering game teams with targeted AI-driven automation tools real-time analytics and workflow optimization to improve efficiency and enhance game design processes.

As a Principal AI/ML Engineer at King you will be using the latest technologies to build ML products that empowers game design workflows across the company. With over 250 million monthly active users and 50 billion events being uploaded daily its key that you care about ML methodologies and latest ML advancements. Youll be working with both tabular and non-tabular data directly integrated in our products in a highly ambitious technical environment.

So what about you You are part of a Shared Tech Levels team and youre an advocate of data storytelling. Youre also passionate for building ML-powered features that accelerates the level creation and operations ecosystem. You also have experience in some of the following areas:

• Statistical Analysis
• Building data pipelines and ML pipelines
• GCP data products (VertexAI BigQuery Cloud Storage Dataflow to name a few) or products from other cloud providers
• Familiar with TensorFlow or PyTorch
• ML model and ML product Monitoring
• Software Engineering skills
• Development in or exposure to environments/software products in Python
• Able to showcase your ML work in small demos to validate feedback from our users (e.g. Streamlit FastAPI Jupyter notebook)
• Collaborate closely with MLOps to ensure scalable production-ready ML solutionsgo beyond prototypes and build robust maintainable models
