Customer Data Engineer

As a Customer Data Engineer you will play a key role in designing and implementing data solutions that power advanced analytics AI and Customer Data Platform (CDP) capabilities at SAS.

Challenges you will work on:


In this exciting role youll develop and maintain data pipelines and models within our Microsoft Azure Data Platform ensuring high-quality scalable solutions for customer data and analytics. Youll support CDP implementations to enable personalized experience and targeted marketing while collaborating closely with business and IT stakeholders. By leveraging your expertise youll help SAS unlock the full potential of customer data and drive innovation across the organization.

The Team:


You will be part of the Data & Analytics team working alongside talented professionals from diverse backgrounds. Our team values collaboration innovation and a commitment to excellence. To be successful we believe you have:

  • Bachelors degree in computer/system science or similar.
  • 6 years of experience in data engineering including pipeline development and data modeling.
  • Extensive experience within SQL Python and other coding languages related to data.
  • Hands-on experience working with customer data.
  • At least 2 years of experience within the airline industry.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI Qlik Tableau).
  • Solid understanding of modern data platforms and governance principles.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban).
  • Fluent in English.

Additional Information

  • Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a 6-month probation period.
  • This position is based in Frösundavik Solna (Stockholm) and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option depending on the agreement made with your manager.
  • To be eligible for this position you need an EU-work permit. Please note that we ask you to inform us if you currently have a valid EU-work permit.
