Location/Division Specific Information

As part of the Clinical Research Group of Thermo Fisher Scientific through PPD this role contributes to our mission of enabling life-changing discoveries and helping deliver innovative therapies that improve lives around the world.

The HR Analyst I role is based in our Seven/NEO Building office in Bonifacio Global City Taguig following a hybrid work arrangement with 1 on-site day per week. The standard schedule is regular day shift (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM) with flexibility to support other regions when needed. A 12-week training period will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role. This position is part of the Colleague Services team within our Shared Services organization which delivers efficient high-quality HR support to employees and leaders across the globe.

Discover Impactful Work:

As the HR Analyst I you would provide support to the local and global HR function gathering compiling and maintaining HR-related information and preparing various reports and documents.

A day in the Life:

  • Employee onboarding (doing contracts asking for personal documents during onboarding to register for benefits and other onboarding activities partnering with Talent Acquisition and local Colleague Services team as necessary)
  • Job changes (receiving Workday job change inbox tasks doing contract amendments partnering with Talent Acquisition HR Business Partners (HRBP) and Managers when necessary)
  • Terminations (complete offboarding for voluntary terminations including creating termination documentation)
  • Maintains personnel files for assigned location(s) ensuring timely and accurate processing and filing of forms.
  • Gathers compiles and maintains HR-related information and prepares various reports and documents.
  • Handles employee inquiries in the Case Management system to ensure high customer satisfaction and work in line with the service level agreements.

Keys to Success:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic qualification
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge skills and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2 to 3 years).

  • In some cases an equivalency consisting of a combination of appropriate education training and/or directly related experience will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Ability to research interpret and communicate HR policies procedures and programs
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer care via telephone and email
  • Confidence to handle sensitive information and data effectively
  • Critical thinking problem solving and judgment skills/ works independently
  • Positive demeanor and willingness to learn
  • Possess good listening skills and patience to work with all types of employees
  • Individual should have high energy with the ability to coordinate/prioritize workload
  • Fluent in reading/ writing/ speaking english; other languages skills a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed with the ability to communicate well in a diverse work environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint experience using a HRIS data base and reporting application
  • Ability to manage each case through quick and accurate resolution independently

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
  • Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
