Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for Administration Manager to join us in a permanent full-time role commencing in December 2025. Based at our Springfield campus this role will be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield opening early 2026. As Maters newest public hospital this state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With 174 public beds ICU maternity emergency and surgical services its set to care for over 200000 patients annually.
Salary range: $124394 - $133248 (MCA6) per annumplus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!
What youll be doing
The Manager is a member of the Finance and Operations Leadership Team within the Mater Springfield Portfolio and has direct accountability to the Finance and Operations Manager of this team. Through this role the Manger provides strong leadership in upholding Maters Mission Vision and Values aligning the operational plans of these services to the Mater Health Strategic Objectives.
This role will manage all elements of these Services benchmarking to maintain efficient processes systems staffing and knowledge that supports excellence in patient care and experience. The Manager is responsible for optimal performance in service delivery by embedding a culture of continuous improvement within the team. This includes identifying and implementing opportunities to improve efficiency through the use of technology critical analysis and redesign of administration processes to support overall improvement in organisational performance.
Strong internal relationships are essential to the success of this role and will ensure all elements of these services are responsive to the needs of our patients and clinical service areas. The Manager will collaborate closely with other Mater Managers to embed an integrated approach to services and strengthen Mater as a whole.
