Join the team launching Vanguards Advice and Wealth Management (AWM) Division. This role provides a unique opportunity to be at the center of helping AWM reach its long-term strategic ambitions and provides a blend of strategic thinking strategic planning execution and analytical responsibilities.
Strategic priorities:
- Planning Coordination: Supports the coordination across planning functions for AWM inclusive of business planning long-term plan and other planning needs.
- Executive reporting: Supports production and distribution of key reporting systems (e.g. management reporting dashboard OKR updates quarterly business reviews fiscal/long-term planning) and reporting communication to AWM LT
- Relationship management: Serve as the liaison between the business leaders and shared service partners with regards to strategic planning programs and initiatives
- Business health issues: Conducts data analysis (in alignment with business and strategy teams) to identify trends opportunities and potential risks escalating findings to senior leadership
Responsibilities:
- Supports programs or manages major workstreams of a broader strategic planning program. Ensures that the scope of the program aligns with business priorities and that business value is properly measured for prioritization.
- Develops and maintains broad knowledge and awareness of AWM business.
- Communicates well with stakeholders leaders team members management and department partners to ensure that requirements and priorities are understood.
- Monitors project progress and results and submits regular status reports to management and internal and external stakeholders.
- Builds and maintains relationships across program stakeholders and proactively fosters effective communication between internal and external parties. Drives key decisions to ensure alignment with overarching goals across stakeholders.
- Ensures all steps are taken to mitigate risk and maintains control compliance audit and legal requirements.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of six years related business experience. Financial Services and function-specific experience required. Minimum of four years project management experience
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required
