Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed both major and minor which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Provides consultation on business requirements and functional specifications in logical program designs code modules stable application systems and software solutions designed around Middleware; facilitates the transition to high level design and supports the project lifecycle with input from executive leadership where needed.
2. Contributes to and leverages the technical direction for the development configuration or modification of integrated business and/or enterprise middleware solutions within various computing environments by providing insight and guidance for the design and coding of Middleware infrastructure.
3. Build declarative Middleware platforms that are consumed as codeHelm charts reusable templates and GitOps-driven platform definitions integrated with CI/CD workflows.
4. Proven ability to build shared platform services and self-service middleware capabilities used by multiple product teams.
5. Serves as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions by leveraging partnerships with technology teams and business leaders to resolve escalated issues.
6. Offers expertise in troubleshooting complex systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for cross-functional application initiatives.
7. Provides consultation to help ensure new and existing software solutions are developed throughout the product lifecycle with insight into industry best practices strategies and architectures.
8. Has detailed knowledge of software architecture; makes technical trade-offs between short-term team needs and long-term business needs; determines how to apply and/or reuse technologies across different areas of the company.
9. Sets the standard for engineering test and operational excellence drives best practices across organizations; builds proof-of-concepts (POC) and proof-of-technologies (POT).
10. Solves significantly complex or endemic problems; architectures are exemplary in terms of robustness stability scalability cost effectiveness.
11. Mentors and advises others sharing an in-depth understanding of company and industry methodologies policies standards and controls.
12. Provides expert recommendations and input on options risks costs and benefits for software solution designs and identifies specific interfaces and methods required to support software solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science CIS or related field
2. Fifteen years of experience in software development or a related field
3. Fifteen years of experience in database technologies
4. Fifteen years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Masters in Computer Science or related field
2. Twelve years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems leveraging Middleware platforms.
3. Infrastructure as code skills leveraging Gitlab based pipelines.
4. Advanced automation skills in Terraform and/or Ansible.
5. Amazon (AWS) experience.
6. 5 years Messaging experience.
8. 5 years software development experience
9. 3 year of Kubernetes experience
