We are seeking a highly motivated and strategicUSMCA Forward Model Supervisorto lead our team focused on ensuring robust USMCA compliance for all future vehicle this role you will drive the development and implementation of advanced processes tools and cross-functional alignment to guarantee that all forward model programs successfully navigate compliance requirements at every program approval gateway. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape our future product portfolios compliance strategy mitigate risks and contribute directly to our financial performance and global competitiveness.
ResponsibilitiesWhat youll do...
- Provide comprehensive oversight for USMCA compliance across all forward model programs including the meticulous tracking of sourcing and compliance metrics and conducting thorough gateway compliance assessments that evaluate the financial implications of any deviations.
- Cultivate deep expertise in USMCA regulatory requirements and tariff codes serving as a primary subject matter expert to educate and guide various teams across the enterprise.
- Lead the design development and implementation of innovative toolsets and methodologies to accurately forecast Free Trade Agreement (FTA) compliance enhancing our predictive capabilities and efficiency.
- Act as a central liaison and leader fostering strong partnerships with critical cross-functional teams including Product Development Program Management Purchasing and Internal Customs Departments to ensure integrated compliance strategies.
- Collaborate closely with Forward Model Planning Teams to formulate optimal sourcing strategies and develop accurate mix forecasts that consistently meet ongoing USMCA requirements.
- Align key stakeholders around program objectives crafting comprehensive strategies and sourcing plans that not only ensure compliance but also support program EBIT targets and overall affordability goals.
- Champion the transition from tactical day-to-day tasks to strategic automated processes and solutions driving efficiency and scalability within the team.
QualificationsYou will have...
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Supply Chain & Logistics or an equivalent academic discipline.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments and lead the development of new tools and dashboards potentially with support from our Global Data Insight & Analytics (GDIA) team.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a track record of developing and delivering impactful presentations to both immediate teams and senior leadership.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills essential for building consensus and driving results within a diverse cross-functional team.

- Experience or strong knowledge of Cycle Planning FPV (Future Program Volume) Data Utilization Part Release Sourcing and/or Codification processes.
- Familiarity with New Model and Global Product Development System (GPDS) program approval cadences.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing footprints for both Vehicle Operations (VO) and Powertrain as well as evolving internal capabilities for Electric Vehicle (EV) commodities.
- Knowledge of USMCA free trade agreement qualification requirements
- Familiarity with U.S. Canada and/or Mexico customs regulations.
