Team
As an Associate in the Aladdin Client Transformations team you will play a pivotal role in implementing Aladdin solutions for institutional clients across the financial industry. Within the Front Office Practice we engage with Portfolio Managers Risk Managers and Senior Leadership at our clients to ensure that Aladdin investment solutions meet their this role you will collaborate with senior members of the Front Office Practice to deliver these market-leading solutions. Our success is measured by the successful adoption of Aladdin by our clients.
Responsibilities:
Leverage Aladdin to transform our clients business workflows and reporting across portfolio construction order management risk reporting ESG and performance measurement & attribution
Collaborate closely withclient leadership (e.g.Investment ProfessionalsInvestment Risk Managers Portfolio ManagersReporting Specialists) to understand clientobjectivesand goals while delivering strong representation on behalf of the Aladdin Business
Lead and document the redesign of investment and reporting workflows across various asset classes including equities fixed income alternatives and derivatives with a focus on operational scale and efficiency
Work closely with the client and Aladdin Product Managers to support the product development needs of our clients
Improve the efficiency and repeatability of our executionmethodologywith each new implementation
Develop deep relationships within BlackRock Solutions and BlackRock to ensure the best client experience
Mentor junior members of the team
Expected to travel periodically including international opportunities
Qualifications:
Deep understanding of investment managementandrisk as a provider or practitioner with4-10years of relevant industry experience
Strong familiarity with capital markets instruments and the investment lifecycle across public and private asset classes
Outstanding communication and presentation skills able to convey complex concepts concisely and clearly to clients
Excellent analytical ability& critical thinking capabilities to help understand complex workflows and client business models
Ability tousing digital literacyto build efficiencies and enhance workflows anddeliver high quality solutions
Great interpersonal skills with proventrack recordof building relationships with internal and external senior management
Well-organized with the ability to manage several contending priorities whileretainingan acute attention to detail
Thrives in a dynamic high-intensity and complex environment proficient in troubleshooting time-sensitive issues and collaborating effectively with others.
Experience implementing scalable and repeatable business processes
Nice to have:
MBA CFA FRM SCR or Certificate in ESG preferred
SQL Python VBA experience a plus
Project management experience (e.g. PMP) a plus
