Position Description:
The Department of Biology at Methodist University is seeking an innovative motivated individual to fill an open-rank tenure-track position. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy and Genetics as well as introductory zoology and general biology for majors and non-majors as needed. There is also an opportunity to develop an upper-level course in your area of specialization.

Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Biology Zoology or a related field isrequired.
Previousteaching experience and a passion for delivering high-quality engaging instruction
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong commitment to student mentorship
Willingness to collaborate with colleagues within and outside the department
Demonstrated potential for university and community service
