Schedule: MondayWednesday Friday: 8:45 AM 5:00 PM Thursday: 7:45 AM 4:00 PM (may vary)

Pay Rate: $22$24/hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Medical Assistantfor an exciting job in Flushing NY.

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for examinations; record vital signs and medical history.
Assist physicians and nurses during procedures and exams.
Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
Maintain clean well-stocked and organized exam rooms.
Document patient information accurately in the EMR system.
Schedule appointments coordinate follow-ups and manage patient flow.
Comply with infection control and safety procedures.
Deliver professional compassionate care to patients and families.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program required.
Certification: BLS certification required; Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA AMT-RMA or equivalent) preferred.
Experience: Minimum 1 year as a Medical Assistant (2 years preferred); EMR experience required; Gastroenterology or outpatient clinic background preferred.
Skills: Strong phlebotomy and lab skills excellent communication organization and multitasking abilities with a commitment to patient service and reliability.
