About the position

This role supports the delivery and leadership of teaching and research within the Physiotherapy discipline.

The School of Allied Health Human Services and Sport offers a range of high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate programs designed to prepare students for success in dynamic and evolving workplaces. The School includes four Departments and ten disciplines across La Trobes multi-campus network and is well known for its research excellence practical impact and strong partnerships with industry.

As part of its ongoing commitment to excellence La Trobe is building a new Clinical Teaching Building and student-led clinic providing state-of-the-art facilities to enhance physiotherapy education and create an exceptional experience for both students and staff.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position you will have

• PhD degree or equivalent accreditation and standing recognised by the University/profession as appropriate for the relevant discipline areas.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in curriculum development and teaching with a commitment to excellence in teaching.
• Demonstrated capacity to provide leadership at course/program/research group or similar level.
• Demonstrated record of achievement as a leading academic and/or practitioner with a reputation for skills knowledge and expertise at a state/national level.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
