Behavioral Health Provider

Monroe Health Center a mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our integrated School-Based Wellness Center team in New Castle Virginia. This unique position allows you to make a lasting impact on the mental health of elementary middle and high school students while enjoying a schedule aligned with the public school calendar.

The Behavioral Health Provider will deliver evidence-based mental health services to students in grades K-12 within a supportive school environment. Services include individual therapy crisis intervention case management.

- Provide short-term and ongoing counseling to children and adolescents addressing anxiety depression trauma family changes behavioral concerns and other mental health needs.
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments develop treatment plans and document services in compliance with FQHC state and HIPAA regulations.
- Facilitate evidence-based interventions (CBT TF-CBT DBT skills solution-focused therapy etc.).
- Maintain licensure and complete required continuing education.

- Must have a Current unrestricted Virginia license as one of the following:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Social Work Counseling Psychology or related field from an accredited program.
- Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred; experience with children/adolescents strongly preferred.
- Experience or training in treating youth with trauma utilizing evidence-based practices preferred

- Ability to pass criminal background checks and child protective services clearance required for school settings.
