Overview
Outpatient MAT Opioid Treatment Program (OTP)
Join our team at Kent Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) as a Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant where youll provide advanced nursing care that transforms lives and fosters this role youll conduct comprehensive evaluations develop personalized treatment plans and prescribe medications as permitted by state regulations all while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Guided by our Medical Director and Nurse Supervisor youll play a vital role in optimizing patient outcomes and ensuring the highest standards of care. Kent Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) located in Kent WAis part of Acadia Healthcares Comprehensive Treatment Centers the leading provider of medication-assisted treatment in the nation. Our team provides compassionate high-quality counseling therapy medication and guidance to patients seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder.

- Practice Setting/Type: Outpatient OTP
- Part-TimeSchedule:
- Monday - Thursday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
- Can be flexible with days/hours

Responsibilities
- Makes a comprehensive physical assessment of patients consistent with training and education;
- Performs physical examinations on patients admitted for medication maintenance;
- Ensures physician medication orders are being followed. Refers patients to appropriate physicians and consults with the supervising physician;
- Evaluates patient care adjusting the plan of care based on outcomes diagnostic test results and patient feedback;
- Provides patient and staff education on medication maintenance;
- Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations CARF Standards and clinic policy and procedure;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited college or university
- Previous experience in behavioral health facility/clinic preferred
- Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) including methadone buprenorphine and naltrexone
- No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment
Licenses/Designations/Certifications:
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physicians Assistant (PA)
- Licensed to practice in the state of Washington
- DEA license.
