United Trades of America is seeking a local Journeyman Electrician for an upcoming heavy commercial project in WestPoint MS. If youre looking for steady work close to home and want to be part of a team that values safety reliability and quality craftsmanship wed love to hear from you.

Position Overview

This project offers full-time hours and consistent work for qualified electricians who live in or near the Denham Springs area. Youll be working alongside a skilled team on a fast-paced job site performing tasks ranging from conduit installation and panel wiring to lighting and device installation. This is a local-only hire - there is no per diem or travel pay associated with this job.

Responsibilities:

Install and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national codes
Read and interpret blueprints schematics and wiring diagrams
Perform conduit bending wire pulling panel terminations and fixture installations
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Work effectively with a team and communicate progress to supervisors

Requirements:

Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to the job site
Must live locally or within reasonable commuting distance to Decatur Alabama
Journeyman: 4 years of electrical experience and/or state or NCCER certification
Must provide own hand tools and PPE (hard hat safety glasses gloves etc.)
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
OSHA 10 or 30 is preferred but not required
