Lighthouse Lab Services has partnered with a top tier reference lab and were looking for an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering accurate fast and high-quality diagnostic results.

About the Role

As an MLS on our team youll work across multiple laboratory disciplinesincluding Molecular Chemistry Hematology Coagulation Urinalysis Microbiology and Toxicologyusing state-of-the-art equipment and advanced testing methodologies. Youll contribute to patient care by generating reliable results troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring we meet the highest quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-complexity qualitative and quantitative testing across multiple departments

• Conduct cultures and assist in microbiology workflows

• Prepare reagents monitor quality control and follow established protocols

• Maintain competency and meet annual proficiency/licensure requirements

• Participate in validations proficiency testing and method correlations

• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to SOP development

• Monitor reagent use and inventory to support efficient lab operations

• Troubleshoot instrumentation and technical issues

• Follow all safety guidelines and Standard Precautions

What You Bring

• Licensed Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) in the state of Tennessee (required)

• Bachelors degree from a CAHEA or NAACLS-accredited MLS program OR a physical/chemical/biological science degree

• 35 years of MLS experience in a clinical laboratory

• Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills

• Ability to multitask cross-train and perform in a fast-paced high-complexity lab

• Commitment to accuracy quality and continuous improvement
