Job Summary

Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Location: North Palm Beach FL 33408
Duration: 6 Weeks
Rate: $23/hour (W2)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant with strong clinical and administrative skills to support daily healthcare operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in front and back office duties possess recent hands-on phlebotomy experience and be qualified to perform basic X-ray procedures. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who delivers high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform front and back office duties including patient intake check-in/check-out and scheduling.
Record vital signs update patient medical histories and prepare patients for exams or procedures.
Perform blood draws and specimen collection with recent verifiable phlebotomy experience (within past 12 months).
Conduct basic X-ray imaging procedures per safety and quality protocols (BXMO or Rad Tech license required).
Assist providers during patient examinations and minor medical procedures.
Maintain accurate confidential patient records and ensure EMR documentation is complete.
Manage clinical supplies sterilize instruments and maintain exam room readiness.
Support administrative operations such as scheduling insurance verification and patient communication.
Provide patient education ensuring comfort and understanding throughout care.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and administrative staff to ensure seamless clinic operations.

Qualifications:

Experience: 57 years as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare or clinical environment.
Certification: Current Medical Assistant certification required.
Licensure: BXMO license or Registered Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) accepted.
Phlebotomy: Strong recent experience (within the last 12 months).
Technical Skills: Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication organization and multitasking abilities.
