Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day 3240 hours per week Monday Tuesday Wednesday and every other weekend 8- or 10-hour shifts available
Pay Rate: $54 $59 per hour

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Radiology Technologistfor an exciting job in Hyannis MA.

Responsibilities

Perform radiographic procedures using proper techniques and radiation safety practices.
Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations to obtain optimal diagnostic views.
Set up operate and maintain imaging equipment; ensure functionality and report maintenance needs.
Review patient history clinical data and physician requests to ensure accurate imaging.
Provide clear explanations of procedures to patients and address any concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
Assist physicians with specialized procedures including needle biopsies.
Evaluate images for technical quality and proper labeling.
Maintain accurate radiology records and documentation in compliance with departmental standards.
Support educational activities related to clinical and didactic instruction in radiologic technology.
Adhere to infection control safety and confidentiality policies at all times.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Demonstrate the organizations core values of compassion accountability respect excellence and service in all interactions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT certification (or registry eligible).
Massachusetts state radiology license.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
