The student will work with the Professor grading papers assisting with office hours and other various tasks of a similar nature. Winter and spring term.

Supervisor: Phanuel Mariano

Hours/Shifts Available: 7 or 8 weekly hours; Mon-Fri normal work hours

Rate of Pay: $9.70/hr

Number of Positions available: 1

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Grading homework
Possibly holding extra office hours for students
Working directly with the course instructor

Qualifications for the Position

Strong record incalculus course or possible MTH 130and should have successfully completed at least one upper level mathematic course in the department and withgrades in the A-range for these courses. Preference given to those who have completed an upper-level math course.
Math Major/Minor also welcome ENG Major/Minor
Ability to maintain confidentiality is aMUST
Time management skills
Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
Basic organizational skills (alpha/numeric)
Attention to detail and accuracy
