Join us as an Intake and Administration Officer and be part of something bigger.
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Intake and Administration Officer to join our Suicide Prevention team.
You will play a critical part in providing support to individuals and families impacted by suicide while also ensuring the smooth operation of administrative systems.
This is a full-time fixed-term position until 30th June 2026 based at Hindmarsh.
Youll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:
Conducting initial intake assessments from professionals and individuals to determine eligibility to various programs ensuring that individuals are connected with the right services
Completing all Intake and Assessment documentation ensuring accurate records are kept to help guide the delivery of effective services
Liaising with various stakeholders to obtain sufficient information for the referral assessment process
Collaborating with program staff and managers to ensure the smooth flow of administrative functions
Administration tasks include: data entry monthly reporting on referrals ordering supplies as required
To thrive in this role you will have:
Administration experience with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Proven ability to handle phone and email enquiries client difficulties and conflict situations
A passion for helping others particularly in a sensitive and supportive environment
We would also love you to have:
Diploma or equivalent experience in Community Services
