Position Responsibilities
- Sample Management
- Verify sample submissions to Quality Control
- Handle store and organize samples
- Fulfill sample pull requests
- Prepare samples for shipment
- Deliver samples to QC labs for testing
- Documentation & Compliance
- Record sample transactions in LIMS
- Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements
- Report anomalies via the Deviation Notification and Resolution system
- Monitoring & Inventory
- Conduct temperature environmental and CO₂ monitoring
- Perform sample inventory and disposal
- Communication
- Interact with external customers and internal peer groups
Leadership Responsibilities
- Team Oversight
- Lead Sample Management Specialists in a regulated facility
- Set individual and team goals to define scope and responsibilities
- Manage team time off and payroll entries
- Performance & Coordination
- Monitor team performance using quality metrics
- Ensure client deadlines are met
- Coordinate with clients to update deliverables set priorities and timelines
- Hiring & Training
- Participate in new hire interviews (as needed)
- Support onboarding of new employees
- Train and mentor team members
Qualifications :
Basic Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors degree in Life Sciences or a related field
- Experience: experience in a cGMP regulated environment. Sample management experience highly preferred.
- Leadership: Proven professional leadership experience
- Work Style: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multitasking environment
- Attention to Detail: Strong observational and analytical skills
- Technical Skills: Proficient in computer systems scientific tools and organizational processes
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Schedule & Availability
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Shift: 1st Shift Wednesday to Saturday
- Hours: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Compensation
- Hourly Pay: $26.00 $32.00 (based on experience)
- Weekend Bonus: Additional flat-rate shift differential of $50 for each weekend shift worked
