Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary and analytical Sustainability Officer to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization you will lead our sustainability efforts develop and implement strategies to reduce our environmental impact and drive sustainable business practices across the company.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with organizational goals and Saudi Arabias Vision 2030
- Lead and manage sustainability initiatives including energy efficiency waste reduction and resource conservation programs
- Conduct sustainability assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
- Create and maintain environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Prepare sustainability reports using recognized frameworks such as GRI or SASB
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainable practices into business operations
- Analyze data and metrics to track progress and report on sustainability performance
- Engage with stakeholders including employees customers and community partners to promote sustainability awareness and initiatives
- Stay current with emerging trends technologies and best practices in sustainability
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences related to sustainability
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Sustainability Business Administration or related field; Masters degree preferred
- 5 years of experience in sustainability environmental management or related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability strategies
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations standards and sustainable business practices
- Proficiency in environmental management systems and sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g. GRI SASB)
- Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills
- Strong project management abilities
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabias Vision 2030 and national sustainability goals
- Professional certifications such as LEED AP or CSR-P are a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive change within an organization
