Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Technology Officer to join our dynamic team in Doha Qatar. As an IT Officer you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our organizations IT infrastructure ensuring smooth operations and implementing innovative solutions to drive business success.
- Oversee and maintain the organizations IT infrastructure including networks servers and data centers
- Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and systems
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
- Manage cloud computing initiatives and optimize cloud-based services
- Administer and maintain database systems ensuring data integrity and accessibility
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex IT issues
- Lead IT projects from conception to implementation ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends recommending and implementing improvements as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT needs and challenges
- Develop and maintain IT policies procedures and documentation
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and equipment
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management including networks servers and data centers
- Expertise in cybersecurity practices and tools
- Proficiency in cloud computing platforms and services
- Solid understanding of database management systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong project management abilities with a track record of successful IT implementations
- In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks and best practices
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g. CISSP CCNA CompTIA) are preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative IT solutions
