Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the temporary works design process ensuring compliance
- Coordinate with permanent works designers contractors and stakeholders to ensure buildability and safety.
- Maintain and update the Temporary Works Register and ensure proper categorization and checking of designs.
- Conduct design risk assessments develop mitigation strategies and communicate risks to the construction team.
- Provide technical assurance and approvals for temporary works schemes.
- Mentor junior engineers and temporary works designers.
- Liaise with supply chain partners to review and approve subcontractor designs.
- Ensure timely delivery of temporary works to meet project schedules.
- Represent the project in technical meetings audits and reviews.
- Earthworks Road and Drainage Technical Team.
- Shop Drawing Preparation RFI preparation providing technical Temporary works solution to the construction team.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Structural Engineer who has at least 10 years experience in technical work.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drawing software like CIVIL 3D TEKLA.
- Proficiency in Design software Midas and Excel programming is an advantage.
- Knowledge and proficiency in Temporary Works design Inspection and supervision.
- Experience in international projects and Railway viaducts.
- Experience in team coordination and management.
