Our NielsenIQ Technology teams are working on revamping multiple platform a unified global open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Our clients around the world rely on NielsenIQs data and insights to innovate and grow. 

As Engineering Manager full stack youll be leading a team of smart highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and prototyping cutting-edge technologies. Ingestion Services is working on unifying and standardizing several varied ingestion methodologies and convergence initiatives with latest backend services on Spring Boot technologies and leverage GitHub to support things like CI/CD and integrations. Java 17 is primarily used to extend platform features along with continuing to adopt the best in class cloud-native cloud-agnostic technologies. Our team is co-located and agile with central technology hubs in Chennai and Pune. Expertise in Java Spring Spring Boot Spring JPA are mandatory. Skills in React PostGre Azure Gradle GitHub AI JavaScript are welcome additions. AI readiness and DevSecOps exposure are key additional facets to possess and exhibit. As the ideal fit for this role you will drive the design and development while mentoring a team of engineers. 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the design implementation and management of enterprise standard scalable and performant solutions. 
• Mentor guide and manage a team of full stack engineers fostering growth and professional development. 
• Support cross-functional stakeholders including Program teams Product Leaders and Senior Technology Leaders to align strategies with business objectives. 
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. 

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems or a related technical field; equivalent work experience may be considered. 
• 10 years of relevant experience in software development with at least 3-5 years of management experience. 
• Strong leadership and communication skills able to collaborate across teams and influence key stakeholders. 
• Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams fostering a collaborative growth-oriented environment. 
• Familiarity with Cloud IaaS/PaaS environments with a preference for experience with Azure. 
• Strong understanding and experience supporting teams with responsibilities across multiple cybersecurity domains within a cyber engineering department.
