Job Summary

Were seeking a Speech Pathologist at any stage of their career whos ready to take the next step. You will join our fun and collaborative multidisciplinary team. We want to support you in your journey and have clinical and operational pathways for career progression!

Successful candidate will be providing supports to cover NDIS participants living in the following areas (depending on where you live) Tamworth Watsons Creek Upper Manilla Gunnedah Wallabadah & surrounding areas. 

Our team assists individuals of all ages and abilities to achieve their goals. No two days will look the same! We strive to provide a caseload that includes your experience and interests. 

You might find us in childcare centres schools homes and even outreach locations (as part of our AAA Adventurer Program!). Our team are a mix of experience levels and enjoy coffee memes and our monthly meeting well-being check ins and upskilling in clinical areas. 

We work closely with the MDT and can be found regularly lunching together and celebrating our wins. Whether you are keen on coming out and spending time as a team or your family life and home is your priority there is a place for everyone!

Your role will include:

  • Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
  • Our Early Years caseload (0-5)    Early intervention and parent coaching (including speech sounds early language feeding school-readiness)
  • School-aged children (5-18) Literacy social communication speech language fluency voice feeding and AAC assessment and implementation.
  • Adults Functional communication speech language fluency dysphagia and mealtime management neurodegenerative diseases stroke and acquired brain injury rehabilitation.
  • Neuro-affirming supports to our large neurodivergent population of all age groups.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist
  • A passion for collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team
  • A desire to make a real difference within the community
  • A current full drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle
